Helping You Succeed
Formative Assessment
Formative assessments are an essential part of your course. Although they don’t count towards your final mark, they help you and your tutors track how well you’re doing and where you might need help. Don’t worry if you have no experience with assessments at an academic level as your tutors and the Academic Support team are there to guide you and provide you with constructive feedback.
Study Skills Support
The ability to write academic essays and reports, to cite and reference, and to give presentations are all key components of academic study. We provide study skills classes and seminars throughout the academic year, as well as one-to-one sessions with your tutor or another member of the Academic Support team.
Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)
Our Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) is where you can join online lectures and get access to study materials and reading lists. Here you’ll also find all your assignment briefs, lecture slides, module handbooks, guidebooks, and much more.
